Experience in Capachica and Lake Titicaca Islands (2 days)

What will you do ?

Day 1: Navigation to Uros Island, Taquile and Capachica

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Port of Lake Titicaca, where we will start our great adventure. Some
minutes after sailing we arrive at the famous Uros Floating Islands and visit the Uros natives, who
they will teach the customs and traditions inherited from the ancestors and maintained for many years. Then we go
Taquile, a beautiful island that is characterized by the manufacture of its beautiful fabrics where visitors can watch as
locals make ponchos, belts, gloves and other typical gifts all made by hand. To get to the top of the island, we will
walk along a beautiful, slightly inclined path where we can see beautiful views of the lake. One will be offered
lunch in a typical family restaurant. In the afternoon, navigation will be made back and transport to the Capachica Peninsula,
where we will be welcomed by a local family, who will offer accommodation and food in their own home in a
bedroom with private bathroom.

Day 2: Experimental day in Capachica

After breakfast, the head of the family will teach us about the customs of the inhabitants of the peninsula and about the
products obtained through agriculture, fishing and manual labor. Right after learning about the living habits of
our hosts, we suggest doing a brief and spectacular hiking circuit to the top of the peninsula, which leads to incredible
observation points of several Islands of Lake Titicaca, with the snow-capped mountain ranges forming a magnificent plane
background. After lunch we say goodbye to our hosts and we will make our way back to the hotel in Puno.
